Book names may be optionally abbreviated. Lookups cannot span books. Multiple lookups may be performed simultaneously by separating them with a semicolon. Lookup queries should be in one of the following formats:

• Matt 1 (Returns the first section of Chapter 1 in Matthew)
• Matt 1-2 (Returns all of Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 in Matthew)
• Matt 1.1-2.1 (Returns the section containing Chapter 1 Verse 1 through Chapter 2 Verse 1 of Matthew)
• Matt 1.1; Matt 2.1; Matt 3.1-3.17 (Returns three separate lookups in Matthew)
